Maple and Orange Winter Salad with Apples is a tasty salad covered in toppings like bacon, blue cheese, and apples with a sweet and tangy dressing
This is one of my favorite salads!
I love everything about it... the tart green apple with the slightly sweet maple-orange dressing, and then there's blue cheese on it {which, of course, makes everything better}, plus toasted walnuts {my favorite!}
Oh I am just so glad that I am eating this salad while I write this post, or I'd be mighty sad without it It's a great fall/winter salad! I guess because most of the ingredients are fall or winter seasonal ingredients.
Now, you must use real maple syrup for this dressing. Don't buy imitation or pancake syrup! Your salad will be just downright gross if you use that.
So do yourself and others a favor and buy the real stuff {which you can also use for this yummy sweet potato casserole}.
