Basil Pineapple Agua Fresca is a refreshing and delicious way to stay hydrated

Basil Pineapple Agua Fresca from Living Well Kitchen

Staying hydrated is not one of my strengths.

I often forget to drink enough water throughout the day.

Honestly, I just don't love water.

When it's cold out, I typically have enough caffeine free tea and soup to keep me hydrated. But in the summer, when it's even more important to stay hydrated, I forget until I'm so thirsty.

Something that helps me remember is to keep iced caffeine free tea like peppermint or hibiscus tea in the fridge or even some lemonade.

But even better is to have agua fresca. It's so delicious and refreshing!

Plus, it's celebrating the pineapple which one of my favorite people Liz of Bumps to Baby & Shaw's Simple Swaps has deemed a symbol to bring fertility to light and the fact 1 in 8 people struggle from the disease.

P.S. Liz and Sara are coming out with a cookbook this fall!!!! The Fertility Foods Cookbook and you need to pre-order it ASAP.

I tested a few recipes and they were beyond delish!

Ok, back to the agua fresca.

It's incredibly easy to make. Throw it all in a blender and enjoy!

You can strain it, but I really like the pieces of pineapple and basil in my drink.

By the way, if you have yet to try basil and pineapple together, you are seriously missing out. It's such a glorious combo!

And that my friends, is a great way to stay hydrated!
