Craving something salty and sweet? These portion controlled Chocolate Drizzled Potato Chips are the solution

Y'all, these are so ridiculously easy that I almost feel guilty calling it a "recipe."
But if you are indecisive at times and can't decide between what you're craving {salty? or sweet?} these are just what you need.
They are perfect for those sweet and salty cravings that I always get - like you want something sweet but also want something salty. Or maybe you just don't know what you are craving, but you know you need something.
And I like that they provide portion control. Gimme a bag of potato chips and I'll eat half of the bag. If they are portioned out on a plate and then topped with chocolate and sprinkles {to up the fun factor}, then I'm just going to eat what's on my plate.
Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't call these "healthy," but I am a firm believer in not depriving myself. All that does is make me think about the thing I can't have.
Basically you just make a quick chocolate sauce and pour it over some potato chips. Stick them in the fridge for about 5 minutes to harden and voila! your salty-sweet cravings are satisfied completely.
And don't be skeptical when I say "make a quick chocolate sauce" because it really is super easy and quick. You put cocoa powder, coconut oil, vanilla, and sugar in a bowl and microwave for 30-45 seconds. Stir together and it's ready to pour over your chips. If you can measure and stir, then you can make this.

Chocolate Drizzled Potato Chips
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
- ยฝ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ยฝ teaspoon brown sugar or honey
- pinch salt
- 1 ounce potato chips about 10-15 chips
- sprinkles optional
Instructions
- Add the cocoa powder, coconut oil, and sugar to a microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds, and stir well. It should be melted but you can always put it back in the microwave for another 5-10 seconds to make sure it's melted.
- Add in vanilla extract and salt, and stir until completely dissolved and combined.
- Meanwhile, arrange the potato chips on a plate or waxed paper {you want them close together so none of the chocolate is wasted}. Drizzle the chocolate sauce over the chips and add sprinkles if using. Put in the refrigerator to harden the chocolate for about 2-5 minutes. Enjoy!
