No sugar added cookie dough dip made with chickpeas and dates, full of almond and coconut flavor
It's not too coconut-y and it has the perfect amount of almond flavor.
I really love almond extract because it gives this nice burst of sweet flavor without having to add tons of sugar.
A little bottle of pure almond extract will last you a while because you only need a tiny amount in most recipes to give it flavor.
Be careful though because it's not like vanilla extract - more is not better. You don't want to have an overwhelming almond flavor. Just stick to the measurement of almond extract a recipe calls for and you'll be good.
This is delicious when served with apple or pear slices. Or just eat it with a spoon.
If you're not into coconut or almonds or either, you can always make this Sugar Cookie Version which will absolutely rock your socks off!
