These little banana bites filled with peanut butter and covered in chocolate are a great snack or dessert for the warmer weather
These little frozen banana bites are really cute and tasty. They're fun to eat, too.
I based my recipe on one from Yummy Mummy Kitchen.
I made a smaller batch because I only had two bananas and needed the other one to make the Peanut Butter Banana Cookies from last week.
I also didn't add any extra sugar or sugar substitute in the peanut butter yogurt mixture because I didn't think it needed it since the bananas were sweet already.
A tiny pinch of salt and a splash of vanilla extract help bring out the sweetness as well.
These are great afternoon snacks or desserts, especially now that the weather is getting warmer.
I popped a few in my mouth after getting home from a long walk and they were perfect!
They keep well in the freezer for about a month, so you can double the recipe and keep a big batch when a craving for something sweet strikes.

When I saw frozen banana bites in my twitter feed, I just had to click to see who was having the same treat :))) yours are much prettier however, and I love that you lined them in muffin cups. I also just used PB with no mix-ins. Next time I'm trying it your way :))
