Truth be told, I've never thought of green peas as a super delicious item that I had to have on my dinner plate.

I could totally take or leave them, so I felt incredibly uninspired by my ideas when I was brainstorming a recipe with green peas.

Peas happened to be a favorite of both of my great-grandmothers, and this Green Pea and Mushroom recipe is based on similar recipes those fine ladies used to make.

I decided that this simple recipe would be acceptable to them but also acceptable to us - meaning it's healthy, delicious, simple, and easy.

For these yummy Green Peas and Mushrooms, you heat up the peas while the onions and mushrooms are sautéing. Then just stir everything together and enjoy. It's seriously that simple.

OK - I'm with you on the peas - I've never been a huge fan. But mushrooms are one of my favorite veggies and if you add garlic to anything I'm game to try it 🙂 P.S. I want to have a meal at your Nan's house one day...
