Everyone will love these (little bit better for you) sliders that're a tasty alternative to a fast food burger. Perfect for a football game!
Who doesn't love a little late night Krystal?
Unfortunately, like most fast food, it's not very good for you.
But sliders are perfect for football games or late-night snacks for that matter. I needed to make them!

Luckily, my neighbor Sheila makes these sliders that taste just like a Krystal burger. So I asked her to share her recipe with me.

Sliders
Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds lean ground beef at least 90/10
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 4 teaspoon onion flakes
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 ยฝ cups cheddar cheese freshly grated, divided
- 2 packages of dinner rolls 12 each
- ยฝ cup ketchup
- ยฝ cup mustard
- 24 slices pickles optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F.
- In a large bowl, gently mix together the ground beef & ground turkey breast.
- Stir in the salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion flakes, Worcestershire sauce, mayo, and 1 cup cheddar cheese.
- Separate the dinner rolls. Cut the dinner rolls open. Lay bottom half of rolls on large pieces of non-stick heavy-duty aluminum foil {or grease regular foil}.
- Spread the ground beef mixture evenly over the bottom half of the rolls.
- Spread the beef mixture with mustard and ketchup. Sprinkle the remaining ยฝ cup cheese over beef. Top with pickles. Cover with top half of rolls.
- Tightly wrap the rolls, and place in the preheated oven.
- Bake for 65 to 75 minutes.
- Carefully unwrap rolls and separate into individual sliders. Enjoy!

I know I've commented on your blog so much lately but you've really done it this time!!! I can't believe you've found a recipe for a Krystal. Literally, they are my BIGGEST weakness. They're absolutely disgusting but I absolutely LOVE them. I haven't had one in years, but thanks to you that might change soon.

I haven't had a Krystal burger in a while, but these taste just like I remember without all the heartburn and weird ingredients. Luckily, everyone else I served these to agreed!

Meme,
OMG these look amazing! I'm sitting here wondering what to eat for breakfast and all I can think is "make a slider. No one will know. It's lunchtime somewhere, right" I can't wait to try this recipe. Thanks so much for linking up to Creative Thursday each week. I always look forward to seeing what you share. Have a great weekend.
