These pimento cheese boats are the perfect one-handed snack -Â simple, easy, & tasty. Yes, please!
The Pimento Cheese I made last year is one of my most popular recipes.
Anyone that has ever made it or tried it always always raves about how delicious it is.
Not to toot my own horn, but I agree... It's flippin' fantastic!
I made it again {I make it like once a month, honestly. I love having it in the fridge for a high protein snack or for an unbelievably good grilled cheese} and then I spread it on some celery sticks for some Pimento Cheese Boats.
Perfect one handed snack, so you can hold a shaker {or drink} in the other hand.
I made the pimento cheese with sharp cheddar. I love Cabot; they make a delicious reduced fat cheese that is perfect for the pimento cheese.
A little grated onion and the juice that goes with it, some diced pimentos, plus a pinch of cayenne pepper stirred into the cheese and cottage cheese mixture makes the best pimento cheese that you don't have to feel guilty about eating a lot.
Then you smear it on some celery slices and you're done.
Simple, easy, healthy, and mighty delicious.
