This easy-to-make Raspberry Vinaigrette is not only deliciously healthy, it makes me want to eat a salad everyday.
Did you know that February is Heart Health Month? It is indeed.
Keeping you heart healthy is quite important since heart disease is the number one killer in America.
While some factors are genetic, a lot of your heart health is dependent on the choices you make like what you eat and your daily activities.

While there are a lot of different ideas on nutrition, I've yet to hear anything bad about fruits and veggies, which is one of the reasons that it is so important to get more of them.
Fruits and veggies are full of heart-healthy goodness like antioxidants, fiber, vitamins, and anti-inflammatory powers.
So how about a Raspberry & Avocado Salad with Raspberry Vinaigrette? You can't get more heart healthy than this right here...
Raspberries are one powerful berry. For one cup of raspberries, you get 8g fiber. Eight grams! Eight! That's almost a third of the amount of fiber you need in one day.
Fiber is super beneficial for heart health... it can lower bad cholesterol, lower blood pressure, and decrease your risk of heart disease and diabetes.
Plus, raspberries are an excellent source of Vitamin C and flavonoids (which can fight heart disease, cancer, and inflammation).
They're also low in calories, have no sodium, and taste really really delicious.
Isn't it refreshing that there are foods out there that taste wonderful and are also great for your health?! Those are the kinds of things that make me really happy.
This easy-to-make Raspberry Vinaigrette is not only deliciously healthy, it makes me want to eat a salad everyday.

I don't have red wine vinegar- can I use champagne vinegar?
Meme says
absolutely! any vinegar will work. I've used red wine vinegar and apple cider vinegar and honestly didn't notice a difference between the two.
