Super easy drink recipe that has only three ingredients. Red Roosters are great for make-ahead entertaining, especially for the summer!

two glasses of Red Roosters with a pitcher of drinks on a rod iron table with water in background

For Day 2 of my 5 day celebration of my 5th anniversary of my 21st birthday, I am doing a super easy recipe that has only three ingredients. The other drinks I'm celebrating my bday with are Piña Coladas, Mojito Limeades, Jalapeño Margaritas, and Berry Peach Sangria.

Orange juice concentrate + cranberry juice + vodka = yum

The purpose of this week's drink recipes is to give you some healthier alternatives to the usual not-even-remotely-healthy fun summer drinks.

I'm not saying they are healthy by any means; just improved from the alternative.

Use 100% juice instead of cranberry juice cocktail {which is usually full of sugar and less than 10% juice}. I like Northland Juices Cranberry Pomegranate juice or any other type of cranberry juice blend that is 100% juice.

You can find them at pretty much any grocery store, and they are sweeter than only cranberry juice but still have 100% juice.

These need to be made ahead. I suggest making them right when you wake up, so you can enjoy them by the afternoon. Or make them the night before to make sure they are ready when you are!

Simply, let them sit out for about 15 minutes to come to a slushy consistency before serving. They also keep well covered in the freezer for about 1 month.

They're a good sunset watching drink, and they will definitely help you cool down since they have a slushy, frozen consistency ๐Ÿ™‚
