Strawberry Daiquiris

I spent the weekend with my fam at our river house.

We had a grand ole' time.

Swam, went out on the boat, watched some football, ate, drank... Definitely good fun.

For some fun football watching drinks I made Strawberry Daiquiris.

And y'all... oh my gosh these were good!

Everyone downed them in like all of 12 minutes.

My cousin commented that she liked how they weren't icy - which happens to be the beauty of using frozen strawberries. Not to mention that using frozen strawberries is also nice since you can make these year-round

The main thing you need to do is use fresh lime juice.

These can be no sugar added; that added tablespoon is not completely necessary but I wanted to make sure they were sweet enough.

I am seriously obsessed with these. Everyone loved them. I promise you won't be disappointed. The only disappointing thing is when they run out and you don't have more strawberries.

I like to buy a big 3 or 4 pound bag of frozen strawberries. You'll use about 1.5-2 pounds.

The best part is that you just need 5 ingredients: limes, frozen strawberries, rum, ice, and a little bit of sugar. Add everything to a blender {a regular, inexpensive one will do}, and blend.

Voila ~ you have delicious, perfect, and healthier strawberry daqs!

Ingredients

• ▢ ¾ cup lime juice fresh {about 4-5 limes}
• ▢ 1 cup light rum
• ▢ 5 cups strawberries frozen
• ▢ 2 cups ice

Instructions

• Add all of the ingredients to a blender. Blend until completely smooth. Enjoy!

Notes

*Feel free to add a tablespoon or two of granulated sugar or honey to add extra sweetness if desired.
