Celebrate Kahlúa Day the best way possible: with these White Russians!
Happy Friday!
What better way to celebrate a Friday than with a tall, cold glass of delicious?!
And it's also Mardi Gras weekend and Kahlua Day is on Monday, so we're being super festive with these White Russians.
Can I tell you how much I love White Russians?! Ah they are just so good!
However, I never really could figure out the right proportions of vodka to Kahlua to milk. So this time, I measured it out to make sure I got them just right.
My personal preference is for equal parts vodka to Kahlua with four times as much milk. You are welcome to adjust yours as needed.
I like a big drink (that isn't strong), so I like more milk. I also use milk instead of cream which is what most White Russian recipes call for.
I don't want to feel sick to my stomach after enjoying my White Russian, so I use my favorite a2 milk and I use 2% so it's not too heavy.
I think that fat free milk would be too watery tasting, so 2% is my milk of choice. (Note: I have previously worked with a2 milk but this post is not sponsored. I just personally use and enjoy a2 milk no matter what)
