Wild Blueberries pack a flavor punch in this delicious homemade infused Wild Blueberry Lemon vodka perfect for an antioxidant-filled, inflammation-fighting, memory-boosting holiday beverage. Great recipe for a homemade DIY gift idea or festive Christmas party drink. Non-alcoholic version included

Stop searching for the perfect holiday drink and/or homemade gift. I have exactly what you need: Wild Blueberry Lemon Vodka
I decided to test three versions of this infused vodka:
1. wild blueberry orange with cinnamon
2. wild blueberry lemon with cinnamon
3. wild blueberry orange (no cinnamon)
My suspicion was that the wild blueberry orange was going to be the winner. I was happily wrong. The wild blueberry lemon with cinnamon blew my mind.
Yes, all of the flavors were wonderful but the hint of cinnamon takes it to the next level. I cannot recommend it enough.

I also thought I was going to like the orange flavor best. In fact, I started out just doing orange then I found one last lemon in my fridge and thought "oh maybe I'll just taste it with lemon and see which one I like better."
I also considered that while this is intended to be a holiday drink, I'm pretty positive I'll be making it year-round. Lemon seems like a flavor that I think of more in the summer (which is why I decided to just taste it with the lemon).
If you find yourself without lemon and just an orange, go with it! It's still delightful. Same with the cinnamon stick. I 100% recommend it, especially for a holiday drink, but it's optional if you are out of cinnamon sticks. But I recommend that in life, you should try to never be out of cinnamon sticks.

One of my favorite parts about this recipe, is the wild blueberries.
A powerful antioxidant in wild blueberries is anthocyanin which can help neutralize free radicals (the bad guys) to help prevent any damage to the cells in your body, and they can protect against inflammation (which is a jerkface and can lead to a ton of unpleasant things such as brain aging and degenerative diseases like Alzheimer's).
Plus, wild blueberries are easy and economical. They come frozen (yay for saving all their abundant nutrients), so you can find them year-round.
This is great to have for the holidays because you can pour them into small bottles and give them as gifts that people actually want! Just say no to fruitcake and one million cookies.
You can also make this for a holiday party you are throwing or attending. There's nothing like having a fun and festive cocktail to get you in the holiday spirit!
And because kids should be able to enjoy this AMAZING drink, you can make this without the vodka. I included the directions in the recipe notes.

Cheers to a delicious, inflammation-fighting, memory-boosting holiday beverage! You might want to double the batch, so you don't have to give it all away ๐
P.S. If you love infused vodka, you absolutely must try this cranberry infused vodka.
