Ingredients
½cupbananamashed
1cuppeanut butter
½cupoatsnot instant or steel cut
1teaspoonvanilla extract
¼teaspoonsalt
Instructions
Stir together all the ingredients, and set aside for at least 10 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 325°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking liner.
Put spoonfuls of batter about 1 inch apart on prepared baking sheet. Flatten as desired {the cookies do not spread}.
Bake in preheated oven for 7-10 minutes or until cookies are firm to the touch. Let cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack. {Be careful, they crumble pretty easily}
Notes
*½ cup of banana is about ½ to ¾ of one banana.*They will seem really greasy/watery after you mix them. Just go with it.*Also, these cookies are not at all sturdy after baking. They just taste good and satisfy a cookie craving. Don't expect to bring them places and have them look right... but they still taste good even if they turn to crumbs or pieces :)
