⅓cupold fashioned oats
⅔cupplain filmjölk
1tablespoonchia seeds
⅛teaspoonalmond extract
1teaspoonmaple syrup
½teaspoonlemon zest
1cupberriesdivided
2tablespoonalmondschopped
Instructions
Stir together oats, filmjölk, chia seeds, almond extract, maple syrup, lemon zest, and ⅔ cup berries. Cover and refrigerate overnight or at least 4 hours.
When ready to serve, stir in remaining ⅓ cup berries and chopped almonds. Enjoy!
Notes
*If you don't have filmjölk, use ½ cup Greek yogurt + 2 tablespoons milk (or water)*Almond extract is optional. You can omit it or use vanilla extract in its place.
