Ingredients
4bags green tea
4bags white tea
4cupsvery hot water{just below boiling}
2lemons
4cupsice water
honeyoptional
mint sprigsoptional
lemon slicedoptional
Instructions
Pour very hot water over all bags of tea, and let steep for at least 10 minutes. {The longer you steep, the stronger the tea gets and the more antioxidants are released. However, this can make it a little bitter if you are sensitive to that}
Squeeze lemons into tea, and stir all together.
Pour ice water over tea, and transfer to a large pitcher. Taste and add additional lemon juice or a little honey if desired. You can also add chopped mint.
Serve tea over ice with mint springs & lemon slices if desired.
