Ingredients
1egg white
½teaspoonlime zestabout 1 lime
1tablespoonlime juiceabout ½ lime
2teaspoonwhite vinegaror cider vinegar
½teaspoonavocado oil
1tablespoonhoney
1teaspoonsalt
1teaspoonchipotle chili powderor use regular for less spicy almonds
¼teaspoonchili powder
¼teaspoonpaprika
⅛teaspoongarlic powder
2cupsrawunsalted almonds
Instructions
Whisk together all ingredients but almonds.
Add almonds and stir well to coat completely.
Preheat oven to 325°F and let almonds soak in mixture, stirring occasionally.
Spray a baking sheet with oil or line with parchment. Using a fork or slotted spoon, transfer almonds to prepared baking sheet and put in a single layer.
Bake in preheated oven for 8 minutes. Stir almonds, making sure they stay in one layer {no almonds overlapping}. Reduce the heat to 300°F. Put back in the oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes until lightly toasted & fragrant. Make sure to keep an eye on them close to the end because nuts burn fast!
Let cool completely on baking sheet. Store in airtight container.
