These Walnut Chocolate Chip Cookies are delicious with no added sugar, gluten, butter, or oil. Plus, you don't need any special ingredients to make them.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with foil. Set aside.
Add dates to a food processor and blend for 30 seconds until relatively smooth. Add nuts and process until blended. Add egg, vanilla extract, orange zest, salt, and baking soda. Process until barely chunky.
Stir in chocolate chips. Transfer to prepared baking sheet. Place about 1 inch apart and make sure to flatten cookie before baking {they do not spread}.
Bake 9-12 minutes. Let them cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before carefully removing from baking sheet to a cooling rack.
