chickpeas
rinsed and drained

Instructions
Mash chickpeas in a bowl with egg and lemon juice.
Stir in garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt.
Add in salmon and red bell pepper, just until incorporated.
Shape into 6 patties, and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
When ready to cook, heat the oil in a very large skillet. Add burgers and cook for about 7 minutes, until burgers easily flip.
Flip burgers carefully. Cook for 8-10 minutes until lightly browned and done. Enjoy!
Notes
*You might find it easier to cook in batches so the skillet doesn't get too crowded.
Heat the oil, cook 3 chickpeas salmon patties, and transfer to a plate.
If needed, add another teaspoon of oil.
Cook the remaining salmon patties.
If serving all 6 at once, add the previously cooked salmon patties back to the skillet to warm up a little.
*2 (6-ounce) cans of salmon can be used in place of the large can.
