Mash chickpeas in a bowl. Stir in egg, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt. Make sure to stir really well.
Stir in salmon and red bell pepper, just until incorporated. Try not to overmix. Shape into 3 patties, and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, preheat oven to 375*F. When ready to cook, heat oil in a oven-safe skillet. Add burgers and cook for about 7 minutes, until burgers easily flip.
Flip burgers and transfer skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly browned. Enjoy!
